Not to glorify war, but to simply recall that this present struggle, and the problems of the middle east reach back far into the past. And they will likely reach far into the future. In fact if you are a student of Biblical prophesy you will understand that there will be no resolution, and no peace for Jerusalem until the reign of Messiah.
